Manufacturing Process & Capacity
Different production processes have a great influence on the quality of the medium. From the perspective of powder production, the particle size and mixing uniformity of powder is very important. If the particle size of the powder is uneven, too many coarse particles or fine particles may lead to powder stratification during storage and transportation, which will also have a certain impact when the solution is dissolved. In addition, heat may be generated during the grinding process, which may cause powder performance changes or raw material failure, so low-temperature grinding can reduce this risk.
After research and selection of many powder grinding and mixing devices, BioEngine finally adopted the Cone Mixing/Pin Milling (CMPM) powder production technology. The product has high uniformity and concentrated particle size distribution. The product is not easy to stratify during storage and transportation, and the quality is stable. In addition, CMPM enables continuous low-temperature grinding to ensure that material characteristics do not change during the production process and that the risks of production are controllable.
The phase II production base of BioEngine has completed the construction of low-temperature CMPM process consistency amplification for the 1,000-liter level, 10,000-liter level, and 100,000-liter level, which ensures the stability and reliable quality of the culture media products. At the same time, it improves the development efficiency of the customer's pilot stage process (from 8 hours to 4 hours) and the process development capability for large-scale production.
