Shanghai Bejin Biotechnology Co., Ltd. Entered The Sprint Stage Of Construction

Shanghai Bejin Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of BioEngine, is located in Zhangjiang Industrial Park, Jinshan, Shanghai. It is the Phase II supply chain center and medium production base of BioEngine.

To promote the process development, quality system, management system, and production capacity of a comprehensive upgrade, BioEngine signed a contract with Jinshan Industrial Park in early 2020. BeiJin, as the second phase of the BioEngine construction project, is located in Jinshan Industrial Park and is planned to be a culture base factory integrating production operation, quality inspection, engineering construction, material procurement, storage, and logistics. At present, the construction of the culture medium factory has entered the sprint stage and is expected to be put into production in the first half of this year.

Beijin has a capacity of 1,000, 10,000, and 100,000 liters of low-temperature needle mill powder process, and the maximum batch of culture medium dry powder production can reach 100,000 liters, solid culture medium annual production capacity of 55 million liters, and liquid culture medium annual production capacity of 250,000 liters. Its culture media products meet the requirements of ISO13485:2016 certification and GMP system and have passed NMPA, U.S. FDA certification, and EU product registration declaration, which can meet the demand for high-quality culture media from biopharmaceutical industries such as an antibody, vaccine, and cell therapy.
